Our Feature
A Prelude About The Author.
The author was born to devout parents on 19th February in Gwalior (M.P.), the heritage city of Central India. The author takes pride in tucking sweet memories of his late parents Smt. Sindhubai Shinde and Shri Shivajirao Krishnrao Shinde, who are in the breath of his being. The author’s father was a renowned figure who earned spurs not only in family but in the society as well on account of his magnanimity and sharp-wit. The author missed the cradle and lap of his grandfather Late Shri Kirshnrao Narayanrao Shinde, who departed before author’s birth, however the grandmother late Smt. Durgabai Shinde spent her love lavishly on author and named him ‘PRAKASH’. In May 2023, the destiny had its way and the author lost his companion and better half Sangita due to cancer but a life, lived well by her, left a beautiful legacy behind. Since then the author has been responsibly playing dual role of parenting to the cute kids Bhavika (Daughter) and Ishvansh (Son) besides his governmental duties.
“Aas Prayas” is the debut literary published work of the author which is more in the form of memoir and retro-spection based on thoughts of author’s late uncle Shri Sambhajirao Krishnarao Shinde besides his late father and grandmother. Expanse of author’s versatility touches to his performance on AIR as freelancer poet, storyteller and drama writer. Author developed intense penchant and proclivity early in his childhood towards stories, biographies of world-famed Celebrities, best books, articles and events. Author has been an avid reader and loves to devour books since childhood, which have shaped him into a writer. Author expresses his gratitude to his grandmother and parents who sowed the seeds of kindness in his persona.
